There's nothing like finding just the right Meme to express how you feel. My meme is pretty cliché, but relatable to anyone taking classes in the CASS bldg. It's tucked away in the corner of the University next to the tracks & the river, and far away from all the other comings and goings of the school (including the commuter parking lot). The CASS is so hidden, that you can't even see it when your standing on top (5th floor) of the parking structure. It's also a very cold and dark place where suntans and dreams go to die... Not because you find discouragement there, but because you will never sleep again. I need to learn how to day dream again like I did as a child...
Thanks! I ended up revising the meme due to the lighting differences between the foreground and background. During the revision process, I choose to leave the lions out... Maybe I should put them back in?
PERSONAL LOGO: My logo is representative of several aspects of who I am. Some of these elements represent my 20 years of active duty service in the military... (3 years in the Navy and 17 years in the Marine Corps). It also has contrast and depth, as does my personality. Some of these elements are right on the surface, and several are more hidden... Much more personal and not intended to be seen by the casual onlooker. When you see my logo, you are seeing who I am... If I couldn't tell you my name or who I am, you would still recognize me when you see my brand! I consider all 3 versions of my logo to be an official representation of who I am. The top one has more dimensionality to it, and it has a gradient mesh applied to it. The second one uses a linear gradient, while the last one is represented in solid color. My logo does not have an outline... It is bold right to the outer edge! I consider all 3 versions
"Island Drumming" https://youtu.be/tBkFS9ryfSE This is a video of me playing the traditional log drums of American Samoa. The raw footage was recorded with an iPhone while visiting a school in Pago Pago as part of the annual Flag Day celebration in April 2016. I've always thought it would be fun to do something with this video, and this project provided the perfect opportunity to experiment with creative techniques. The first 10 seconds of video were created in Adobe Photoshop by tracing outlines and filling them, frame by frame (A technique known as Rotoscoping). At 12 frames per second, this added up to 120 individual frames. The remaining video was edited with effects in Adobe Premier. The original audio from the iPhone was duplicated and denoised using the utility plug in "RX6" from iZotope. The dialog was recorded with a shure SM57 into a focusrite audio interface and Avid's ProTools software. Additional sound design was created using Kontakt
